Barcelona

If you want a city that also gives you the option of a beach holiday, then Barcelona might be the place that you are looking for. There is so much to see and do here, that it is a shame just to visit for a couple of days. The cathedral and the old town offer fascinating architecture, and in the evening you can relax in one of the bars or restaurants. If you wish to dance the night away, you can head to one of the salsa clubs.

However, it is definitely worth it. A gondola trip along the canals is a must, and there are plenty of palaces, galleries and museums that you should visit while you are here.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is an excellent choice for visitors who are on a low budget. There are plenty of low-cost hotels and eateries, and it is not difficult to get around the central part of the city on foot. Visitors love to take in destinations such as the Van Gogh museum, where you can see some of the artist’s masterpieces. However, a trip to Amsterdam would not be complete without taking one of the canal tours.

There are some great tourist destinations in the city, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum. Art lovers can take a trip to Monet’s garden, and the Palace of Versailles is also within easy reach.
